Christmas this year made me feel like I’d really hit adulthood. I was able to spoil all of my friends and family with lovely gifts, and I got so excited watching their faces as they unwrapped them. Everybody told me I was a nightmare to buy for because I genuinely couldn’t think of anything I really wanted. I’ve reached this place of feeling content with everything I have, and the only thing I wanted was for my family to come together and be happy.
Regardless of my reluctance to help people with gift ideas, my loved ones surprised me with some beautiful gifts and I felt massively spoilt!
I wanted to share 5 of my favourite gifts and gift ideas which I will definitely be stealing in the future.
1. Mikes sister (Nicole) got me this beautiful multi-purpose clutch bag from Kate Loxton. I’m mad for anything with a quote on it and this has my favourite quote (she believed she could so she did) inside.
2.Michelle Obama’s ‘Becoming’ was another fave! I’ve heard amazing things about this book. Two Chapters in and I’m already hooked!
3. This is two gifts, but I’ll always wear them together so… My jaw dropped when opening both of these gifts from Mike and his mum (Sue). The bracelet is Monica Vinader Rose Gold with ‘VictoriaNiamh’ engravement, and a silver and rose gold diamante Michael Kors watch. I literally can’t stop looking at my wrists.
4. My brother (Oliver) and his girlfriend (Magda) prepared this gorgeous hamper for Mike and me. They filled it with Gin, stationary, accessories, chocolate and lots more. I will definitely be stealing this idea in the future!
5.Quality time with family. It’s so easy to take advantage of the time you spend with family, but after watching my Grandma rapidly deteriorate this year, and usually having my brother working away, I felt so whole having everyone together. We screwed the stress of cooking and went out for Christmas dinner, accompanied with lots of gin and the kind of laughs that lead to coughing fits.
Did you give or receive anything lovely this Christmas? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
All my love,
